In Other News

Lydia is pulling herself up to a standing position now!  She started last week and used the learning tower in the kitchen to get herself up for the first time.

 

  Then she did it a couple of times in McCall.  As of Thursday (8/23) she was doing it constantly!!  I dropped the mattress in the crib all the way down now because she has been trying to do it in there for a couple of days and now that it's all the way down she has done it a couple of times!

Natalia: " Oh my goodness Lydia is standing up!"  She says the funniest things!!

Friday (8/24)  I put on a cute Bronco outfit on Lydia.  I hadn't said anything to Natalia about her outfit figuring she wanted to stay in jammies since she usually does.  As soon as she saw Lydia all dressed up she asked to put hers on as well.  Woo!  As I'm getting on her outfit I say something along the lines of you girls look SO CUTE!  Natalia's response?  "Yeah! Let's take a picture!"  ha ha ha ha.  I'm definitely rubbing off on the kiddo. 

Now the little stinker has figured out the stairs.  The other day Natalia was at the top so Lydia got curious and made it up a stair.  Then today (Sunday) she made it up a few of the steps trying to get to our shoes!
