Boise State played in the Fiesta Bowl on New Years Eve against Arizona. It was a fun game and we had lots of family and friends over to enjoy it with us. The kiddos were decked out in the BSU finest and looked super adorable!
BSU kicked butt and got a good lead right off the bat. We stayed ahead the whole game and won 38-30! It was awesome because we were the 20th ranked team and Arizona was ranked 10th. It was exciting to get into a big bowl game and then win it!

After the game the girls went with my mom to spend the night at my grandma's house with the boys. Quinton stayed with us, and we all went out to dinner with our friends Kevin and Cheryl to Texas Roadhouse. It was so very strange to have just one kiddo and be out and about like that. After dinner we came home and hung out for a bit. Kevin took off about 9:30 because had to work early the next day. Then Charlie went to bed, so Cheryl and I just hung out and chatted for a bit. I started to take down my Christmas tree ornaments while we chatted. She took off just after 11pm, and the only reason I was even awake at midnight was because Quinton woke up to eat and then couldn't fall back asleep because someone in our neighborhood was setting off fireworks. =) Once we fell asleep though he stayed asleep until 7:45am! It was a great start to the new year... except for the horrible cold I woke up with. DAH!
