The kids have been dying to go back to Roaring Spring since our visit last summer. Natalia kept asking when we were going back to the place with all the pools of water and big slides. She remembered last summer she was just barely too short to go on the bigger slides and was excited to see if she could ride them this year. So we had a Roaring Springs date planned with my mom and family for her trip back this month. Thankfully Derek and Ashlee have a water proof camera and were able to capture some of the fun for us!! Natalia was in HEAVEN. We went and measured her and sure enough she was right at the line to be tall enough!! They gave her a special bracelet that let the lifeguards know she was tall enough so they wouldn't have to question us every time we got in line. She was so brave and loved it. We went down the big family one twice with Derek, Ashlee, and Oliver. Then we did the one that was just the two of us on a tube. It sucked waiting in line though because we felt like we were wasting away our day that way. So we went back to the kiddo area with the rest of the group. We did the kiddos slides a ton though. Lydia was much more brave last summer on these slides, but she still loved the water. (I think she just wasn't feeling great from McCall, we were so worn out and didn't get a chance to recover, too many days of skipped naps for that kiddo)
