My dear friend Amy has been in town this week and we've been having lots of fun.
Starting with Saturday I joined the girls (while daddy had baby duty) for some dinner and a hockey game. Cheryl got tickets and the suite through her work. We had a BLAST! We then went to the Ram and enjoyed some ice cream cupcakes (if you haven't tried them out yet, do it) and made ourselves sick to our stomachs with how much we ate. Seriously, such a fun night.
Sunday I met up with the girls again to go tubing up at Bogus (again thanks to daddy and baby duty) It was so fun. I hate the drive up and down Bogus and was seriously dreading it, but we made it.

Monday we had our last swim lesson for this session. Natalia is doing GREAT with swim lessons. If you see her ask to see her "swim arms" it's too funny. We have a two week break, and then back on for eight weeks. After that session she graduates to a big kid class and I won't be getting in the pool with her anymore. Sad face. But then I can sign Lydia up for classes and get in with her. ;) That night we had our weekly family dinner and it was my dad's turn and my turn to cook dinner. I decided on breakfast for dinner. We had scrambled eggs with cheese and bacon, Pancakes (plain and chocolate chip), hash browns, and fruit. It was a huge hit!! Might have to do that more often.
Tuesday morning Amy came to play with Natalia since she hadn't had a chance to see her yet. Natalia doesn't call her Amy, it's M'Amy. It's too funny. Anyway they wore each other out. Then when M'Amy came back last night to watch Biggest Loser with Cheryl and me Natalia ran up to her hugged her leg and said M'Amy really loud. TOO CUTE! We need our M'Amy home. ;) Lydia ROLLED!! She was on her tummy and rolled to her back twice for me and then twice more when daddy got home. WOO! Opposite of her sister again. Natalia rolled from back to tummy first and after a month or so started tummy to back. So we'll see how long it takes Lydia to roll from back to tummy now. I was starting to feel like a failure as a mama to her because all the other babies born around her have been rolling for a couple of weeks now. DOH! I know I know, silly to feel guilt... but I'm a mom it's what we do.
That puts us to today (Wednesday). Lydia's been rocking the rice cereal for almost a week now. We've only been doing mornings, but think that we'll move on to twice a day now.
Then in a couple of weeks we'll start some baby food. Oh geesh, she's old enough for baby food. Time to start my prep work since I want to give making our baby food a go.
Then in a couple of weeks we'll start some baby food. Oh geesh, she's old enough for baby food. Time to start my prep work since I want to give making our baby food a go. So tomorrow is Thursday. What happens tomorrow you ask????
HUNGER GAMES!!
Holy frick on a stick I'm excited. To make it even better, there's a Breaking Dawn preview. YIKES! And it's actually getting GREAT review online.
Of course I'm the idiot who agreed to a midnight showing. ;) But still think it'll be so much fun.
Alrighty, there's a quick little update.
