Updates

I know I know, it's been a week since we went to Seattle and I still haven't blogged about it. It's been a hard week though. I'm exhausted and still feel like I'm trying to catch up on sleep and various household duties. Plus on top of that Natalia caught a cold Tuesday. So she's been a bit cranky and a bit clingy.... and not sleeping well at all. So one of these days I'll sit down and write more.

Charlie's grandpa passed away yesterday. We knew it was coming and his mom spent all last week with him in the hospital. Thank goodness she got that extra time with him. So now plans are in the works to get Charlie up to Canada for the funeral. Natalia and I will most likely be staying home though. I really don't want to try and make the drive with her, and a plane ticket for us is just too pricey. But, we will send Charlie no matter what. It's bringing back all these memories of my Grandpa Merrill and when he passed away our senior year in high school. So sad. =(
