Natalia had her last day of preschool (year 1) and so I had to make sure to get her picture to do a side by side comparison. She has definitely grown this year! She misses going already and misses seeing Jude so much so we'll see how having a summer break goes for her. =)
We had to drop my car off at the Honda dealership to get a recall fixed and get the hooks fixed for the screens on the back windows. So the girls seats were loaded up into Charlies car and they love it when we do that because they can reach each other back there. SO PRECIOUS.
Natalia has discovered Mario Kart on the Wii. Really doesn't understand how to drive but she loves to play and watch Charlie play. Lydia got a hold of a control and thought she was being super sneaky.
We met up with Charlie's Sister's and their kiddos for lunch at Burger King for something to do. We had a ton of fun! Steph got up into the play place with the kiddos at first to help the 3 littlest ones play too. It was hilarious and awesome. I got in on it a little but it didn't go as well as when Steph was up there. ;) We decided today that aside from our multiple family dinners we need to play like this at least once a week. Next week's plan is to do a picnic in the park.
So a dear friend of mine from College works down in Disney World. Can you imagine?!?! Years ago, prebabies I went and saw her with two other friends and we had the trip of a life time. I'm dying to take the kiddos there!! Anyway, she was so sweet and sent up some stuff fresh from Disney. Natalia's face is awesome and she was in total heaven that day. Lydia LOVES her Minnie and now has added it to her Mickey for her must haves at night night time.
Every couple of weeks we do dinner with Charlie's family at his Dad's house. We missed the last one because of some other obligations, but got to go this last time. They had done a walk along the green belt to find the swans last time, and so we just had to try again this time. Totally worth it. Even though mama swan was sleeping on her nest it was such a cool thing to see! And boy was it enormous!
The other day Natalia got a card from Grandma Hodges down in Texas. It was just a cute thinking of you card that totally made her day.
Me: Natalia you got a card from Great Grandma Hodges
Natalia: Does them love me? (referring to both Grandma and Grandpa Hodges)
Me: They sure do!
Natalia: Ok, I want to go to Texas to see them.
I made her pose with the card so we could send the picture to Grandma Hodges. ;)
Natalia has a million and one baby dolls. Ok slight exaggeration, but really a lot of babies. Lately she's taken to saving her money (she gets coins for sleeping all night and for staying in bed until her clock says it's time to get up) and buying the Disney Princess Baby dolls. Anyway, here is Belle, Snowhite, and Cinderella all swaddled up. She loves to bring me babies to swaddle. Keeping my swaddling skills fresh you know?
Lydia is hilarious with shoes. She doesn't care if they are Natalia's shoes or her own she brings them to you and insists you put them on. Both of these pairs were Natalia's and they were enormous on her (even if you can't tell in the pictures). TOO CUTE.
So you all remember my cousin Briana? The one that Natalia ADORES?? Well, she graduated high school this week. Say what?!?! I can't even believe that she is old enough to be done with high school. I remember my aunt being pregnant with her on New Years Eve while we were all hanging out and complaining of stomach pains and then going into labor and having her the next day. Seriously. We are soooo proud of her though. She's going to college in Utah at Westminster. Miss Smarty Pants that one. Anyway, there was an open house at their home to celebrate last weekend and I got this little shot of these two. Natalia is sure going to miss not seeing her at my Grandma's house every Sunday. Lastly a few little things about Miss Lydia not in picture form:
*We started doing the airplane thing with her utensils when she wouldn't eat. Now she does it to her self and it's stinking cute
*has to be doing what sister is doing, despite her smaller size. she is convinced she is just as big as Natalia.
*Loves "talking" on the phone, will pretend to talk on my phone and the play phones
Sunday is Natalia's 4th birthday. I will have lots to post on that one. We're doing her fourth birthday shoot with my cousin on the 13th, so stay tuned.
