Disney on Ice

On Saturday the 1st we went to Disney on Ice.  I can't even begin to describe how excited I was for this and how excited I was to take Natalia.  I was just hoping it wouldn't freak her out like the circus did.  I showed her a video on the computer just in case to prepare her for what we were in for.  All she said was that she wanted to go skate with the princesses.  It was a princess themed show and centered around the Princess and the Frog, Cinderella, and Tangled.  Natalia insisted I do her hair like Sleeping Beauty for the show, which I just curl and it seems to satisfy her.  (side note: when I was little I made my mom do my hair like Barbie, lots of curls as well, which I remember every time she asks for it now) She picked out her dress for the show as well.
The show was a HUGE success.  Not only did Natalia seem to love it (and of course I did) but Lydia totally got into it!!  They had Mickey and Minnie come out between stories to talk.  Lydia FREAKED out and was screeching Di-Dee, Di-Dee!!  She really really really wanted to get away from us and out to Mickey. Who knew a one year old could have such strength and determination!  During each story there was always something she was gabbing about and pointing at.  We had amazing seats too, we were the first row up off the floor so we could see everything.  It was such a fun morning and the girls did great despite it being during lunch and cutting into their nap time.  I seriously can't wait for the day that we get to take them to Disneyworld and introduce them to the real magic.  ;)

Natalia enjoying the show from the comfort of her daddy's lap
Miss Lydia, trying as hard as she can to get away from Daddy and get to her precious Di-Dee

 Love this goof!
 The main Mouse
 Intermission, enjoying a Rapunzel slushy
Natalia insisted on seeing the Bronco in front of the stadium (GO BRONCOS!)

For more pictures check out our Christmas Facebook album.  The Tangled part was probably my favorite part of the whole show and my pictures couldn't have turned out worse.  They were all blurry!!  GRRR.  But they did tons of cool aerial/acrobatic stuff with her "hair" and it was awesome.  DOH!
