Sleeping through the night!

We have had two nights in a row of sleeping the ENTIRE night!! WOOO HOO!! The night before last she was asleep by 7pm and slept until 7am the next morning! I woke up like 3-4 times though to check on her he he he. Then last night she was asleep by 7:30pm and woke up at 5:30am, ate and went back to sleep until 8:00am! I can't believe it, we may have finally made it... of course with my luck she'll probably start cutting a tooth and go back to waking up a lot! he he he. Prior to this I could count on just one hand how many times she had slept through the night since she was born! But, now I need two hands to count and hopefully soon this means I might just lose count!

What a difference sleep makes! I don't know how much you guys could tell, but I was suffering from it. It could have been baby blues or post partum depression, but I was definitely down in the dumps. For a couple of months there I was so tired and just frustrated. She wasn't sleeping and wasn't eating her solids... I felt like a failure. I didn't know how to fix it and I was crying a lot! I was struggling. Anyway I tried to hide it from everyone, I'm sure Charlie got the brunt of it. So I'm sorry to any of you who I might have hurt or offended by my behavior the last few months. But, I have felt so much better the last few weeks. As soon as she started to feel better from her pneumonia things really turned around and she was waking up just once a night and I was suddenly getting some sleep. Now if only the little stinker would let Charlie help me with putting her to bed we'd really be in business! He he he.

In other fun news: My wonderful sister in law Alison gave us a sling way back when. I tried using it once with Natalia when she was a newborn and she hated it. She much preferred the Baby Bjorn and being up against my chest. Anyway, there's been a recall on the sling. So I went to the website and followed the instructions to return the sling (at no cost!) and got to chose a replacement item. We'll be getting another carrier similar to the Baby Bjron for free!! Good thing too, the Baby Bjorn is just on loan to us from my brother and his wife, and I'm sure someday they are going to want it back. So I'm a happy girl today.

That's about it for now. I'm going to go work on some more bows while she's napping. I've created a new style, and am super excited to make more of them. =)
