Christmas 2015

We seriously had a wonderful Christmas.  It was so busy and we ended up spreading out our parents over a three day period... which worked out so perfectly.  Doing so let us have our Christmas morning/day just to ourselves instead of having to rush through to get ready and be somewhere for lunch.  We are so grateful that we have so many loved ones to spend time with though!!  You'll have to forgive me on the shortness on this post.  I'll get the important details in, but otherwise really just wanted to get caught up on the blog.... and most of its in picture form anyway!  Here is the link to my album on Facebook with all my pictures:
That has all our Christmas fun, plus Jingle's antics too!

Christmas Eve morning we had breakfast with Charlie's mom, sisters and their families.  I don't have any pictures off Instagram to add to here, but there are some in the album.  The cousins exchanged their little cousin gifts that morning too.  Quinton got Adam's old tool bench from Grandma and he LOVED it.

Christmas Even dinner was spent with my mom and my Aunts and their families.  We were expecting 24 people!  So we set up a kids table, Natalia helped and wrote out the kids place cards.
I made a big kids table for all of us cousins to sit at.
And the grown-ups aka our parents all set at my dinning table which isn't on here, but I didn't get a picture of it.  It was so fun to have such a big group together, and I loved setting all the tables up.
Quinton helping me make stuffing for my Christmas Eve dinner.  he loved the crunchy bread pieces and kept stealing some while he was putting the pieces into the bowl.

These kiddos had a blast with everyone here.  They got tons of great presents from my aunts.  My cousin Mauricio was a trooper and just laid on the ground like a big teddy bear (and he's a big guy, like tall big) and the kids had so much fun wrestling and playing with him.
Setting out treats for Santa, he decided Santa didn't need that many.
Gave them special jammies to wear to bed Christmas Eve.  They were super excited to get to open something from us before Christmas
Christmas morning, waiting on Lydia to wake up as usual.
Natalia requested reindeer pancakes for breakfast instead of our usual cinnamon rolls.
I must come off as stressed... adult coloring books for art therapy... hmm.  ha ha.  I actually asked for the two Disney ones to color on while the girls are coloring.
This was my main gift from my sweet hubby and I was SO Excited to get it.  A couple of weeks earlier I had gotten a text saying our credit card was used for a large purchase.  Charlie was in Seattle so I asked him if it was him.  It was, and he told me what he had bought.. an Ipad Mini! (so my surprised got ruined, but I was still so excited that he had gone and gotten one)  My nook is pretty much dying, it doesn't hold a charge anymore which sucks.  So now I have a new reader, but it's an iPad so it can do so much more.  This will be awesome for our upcoming trip!
We took the day easy and then had dinner with  my dad, brother and his family.  My dad got the girls this cute little baby play house thing that is portable because it folds up... and they LOVE it.  They use it for their ponys, beanie boos, or those little build a bear things from their McDonalds happy meals.

My cuties in their Christmas finest.

The next day we had lunch with Charlie's dad, sisters and families.  Goodwood of course, and we were stuffed!!  Grandpa and Cece gave the kids some gifts and our annual zoo passes.  And this year we were REALLY spoiled... and now we get to go to Hawaii for spring break!!  We are so so excited.
That night we did our second annual campout downstairs in the living room.  Quinton slept in his bed since he's still a tad too small to join us, hopefully next year.  We pulled out our mattress from our room for us to sleep on the pillow top mattress for the girls to sleep on and it was quite comfortable this time.  Natalia said she got cold but she was closest to the window... so next year we'll be sure to take care of that.  It was a huge success and as usual the girls loved it.

Lydia was the first, asleep all snuggled up to tookaless
Natalia "snuggled" with us during the last bit of movie and of course fell asleep.  So Charlie moved her back to her spot.
