April insta catch up

Yikes, April is already over?!?!?!  Holy cow.  I feel like I just finished March's insta catch up and here we are doing April.  May/June/July are promising to be super super busy, so hopefully I'll do ok keeping this up!

We are so blessed to be surrounded by family who will drop everything to babysit for me when I needed to be at the hospital.  Quinton sure does adore his Uncle John and Aunt Stephanie and it's nice to know my kiddos are well taken care of!
National sibling day, or something like that.  I found lots of fun ones of my brother and me... this was just a couple of cute ones.  Totally looks like his youngest Dyson (who I thought looked like his moms side of the family until I saw this!)
While digging through my baby books to find pictures of Derek and me, I found this awesomeness of my daddy and myself.  Lydia thought he was Derek when I showed it to her.  This was on the big cement pad/basketball court between my grandparents house and their pool.  I have so many fond memories of that house/pool.
I didn't think I could capture the moment quite well enough, but wanted it documented... when I'm holding Quinton on my hip he tends to grab onto my thumb like this and it's so cute.
Tea parties with princesses. Whenever we have Cypress over the first thing these three want is to dress up and have a tea party. Good thing we have so much dress up clothes ha ha (excpet Lydia pretty much only wears her Elsa dress)
Working on the sign for "more" with Quinton... and he finally did it when I took him out of the bath and wanted more.  ha ha.  he really hasn't done it much since even though we are constantly working on it.  It was just funny that when he did it on his own it was because he was mad at me for getting him out.
Another great zoo date
We are struggling with little guy.  I feel like he's teething and I can sorta see those top teeth, but they just aren't cutting through.  In the mean time he's sleeping horrible (not too out of the norm though) he has all the sudden lost his appetite and he's pretty grumpy.  UGH!  I finally got him to eat one night by making him a waffle and letting have a normal fork.  he had so much fun trying to stab the bites by himself and feed himself and he actually ate.
I had just finished laundry (and by just, I mean probably the day before and the clean laundry sat there for a couple more days before I put it away ha!) and the girls thought the baskets looked like great lounge chairs to watch TV in.  Doesn't seem that comfortable to me, but whatevs.
So Quinton's original piggy bank from Cheryl and Amy had blue eyes, and it was supposed to have brown eyes.. to match him and to match the girls and their piggy banks.  The lady who painted it sent a replacement with brown eyes (not sure what to do with the blue eyed one now) and so we had to move his quarters from his old piggy bank to the new one.  He got the hang of it pretty quickly!
Working away on sewing projects.  My friend was in town for her baby shower and so I was making her a car seat canopy and a nursing cover.  Once I get going I actually really enjoy sewing, (and I love picking out fabric, Hobby Lobby has the cutest patterns!) but I hate the cutting of the fabric, the pinning away... and the fact that I just don't have more time to do it all.
Quinton got his tubes in six months ago!  We had our check up with the doctor to see how they were holding up.  He did great, got to have his first sucker and they are still  in place.  Thankfully we haven't had any ear infections since putting them in.  Usually they are meant to just reduce the amount the kiddos get, but with him it has eliminated them all together.  They should fall out on their own after another six months- year.
Again, it's been rough... I'm so stinking tired ALL.THE.TIME... but when he's happy he is happy and his giggles are the best.  He was having a blast sliding on this little slide from Grandpa Steve.
Tipehop- Natalia was about 10 months old and we went to visit Oliver in Utah at the Primary Childrens Hospital.  He had a procedure done to remove some mesh from his tummy from his first surgery (liver transplant).  To get the kiddos out and about they take them around in wagons so we took them for a wagon ride.  So cute and so little!
6am wake up calls are pretty common around these parts with this little guy.  So we usually try to play quietly in the tv room downstairs until sisters wake up too.  (have I mentioned how tired I am?)  He LOVES playing with balls and throwing them etc.  It's seriously so stinking cute.
At Casa Mexico with the family.  Quinton decided that mommy wasn't fast enough in feeding him the beans so he did it himself.  First with the fork and then just licking the bowl.  He made a big mess, ate a lot, and was just all around too stinking cute!
Excuse the screen shot of my Insta account.  But this was from my Sister in Law Steph... She's PREGNANT!! WOOOO!  They have been trying since Cypress was one, and finally almost three years later they have been blessed with a new baby.  I can't tell you how excited our whole family is for this little one.  Thankfully I still have a lot of my baby stuff, so Baby Jarvis will inherit a lot of stuff from us.  It makes me feel so much better about getting rid of it all knowing who it's going to and how important it is to them.
Another afternoon with our niece Cypress.  They were dressed up for lunch and they ate so well it was almost shocking! Quinton was his usual goofy self, so I had to get it all documented.
4/29 Switch turns 10 years old!  I know I don't talk about him much.  He drives me crazy most of the time.  But honestly he has been such a great family dog for us.  He's so good with the kids and has never ever been aggressive towards them or any of us.  He lets them climb all over him and tug on his tale etc.  He plays so amazing with my bro/sis in law's little teeny chiweiny dog and Tiko is probably the size of Switch's head.  He loves nothing more than to play catch with Charlie in the back yard.  His nose and head are showing lots of gray, but he still acts like a puppy most of the time.    I will definitely miss him when the times come to say goodbye to him.  When Charlie is traveling and we are alone it's so comforting to have him home and have him look meaner than he is.

Hi! Thanks so much for commenting on my blog, I love finding out about stalkers, as long as they are not crazies :) haha Thanks for sharing some thoughts with me, I love when people have similarities with me, it is so fun to know that the quirky things are more common than I think. Your family is beautiful!
